Limestone Hill Trail - Mastodon State Park
Summary: Mastodon State Park has 2 trails that when combined, form a pretty nice workout. The first trail is called the Spring Branch Trail which consists of pretty level ground and nothing but gravel. The second trail is a bit more challenging and is called the Limestone Hill Trail. The name should give you an indication of the type of trail you'll be embarking on. It's mostly limestone and there is a pretty decent ascent on its hills.
These two trails combine for a decent workout at around 3.1 miles (depending on your direction).
Distance: ~3.1m
Difficulty: Moderate (mostly due to the southeast and northwest sides of Limestone Hill Trail)
Location: Mastodon State Park in Imperial, MO off I-55
